VVVVVV imitates a C64 game to a large degree. So I wondered - what would the game look like if it was styled instead to look like an Amiga game?
Astute viewers will notice that Viridian's face is loosely based off NES Mega Man sprite. There are several reason for that - one, I needed to draw a small cartoony but expressive face in a very small sprite that will look more or less like the original - and there's only so many ways to do so; and second, the original sprite already appears to be heavily inspired by Mega Man (and so does the game itself, honestly - with all the spike drops and Gravity Man-like gimmick).
