Thank you so much Elk, it means the world coming from you! It's quite incredible to read that as you are (and always have been) a huge inspiration for me. I started learning / doing pixel art on the web more than ten years ago. I clearly remember your Deathwing being one of those pivotal moments of my experience as a beginner artist back in the day!
Thank you Sekai! I always try to keep in mind old limitations without really sticking to them. Basically it just translates to color limitations nowadays!
Very pretty and detailed, but I feel like it could benifit from a few more colors.
Cool colors! It looks very retro on the one hand but also kinda modern. The whole scene is interesting too. Keep it up!
Thank you! I'm trying to convey more and more "storytelling" with each piece!
Interesting, I'll have to check it out! my user name actually comes from the combination of both Secret Of Mana and Illugion Of Gaia. I have yet to play any other game in the Mana series though.
Thank you as usual! The fun fact, considering your nickname, is that for this piece I tried to convey memories of how exploring the sanctuary ruins and gardens from Sword of Mana felt like!
So when you say tileset editing what do you mean? It's made of tiles, that you then go in and change? Either way marvelous piece. Super inspiring.
