FINALLY able to respond to this. The fact you need to post so much to be able to reply to comments on your work is very very stupid.
ANYHOW: yes, most of that is intentional! White streak in the hair, decapitation and gore, etc. The orange there is supposed to be meat, as I'm re-using colors for it. "Dead Meat" is absolutely the goal for my personal avatar here, what with it being a decapitated head and hands!
White spots on the head (hair), mouth, and neck looks weird and misleading. Do you have some gray hairs? What is that in your mouth? A stick, a spittle? The white thing on the neck looks like a piece of bone, but again, there is something orange around... Overall, deep red shadows makes the head looks like a dead meat torn off.
Correct on all counts, vector! Looks like I got across exactly the ideas I was trying to!
