great to hear that , can't wait to see more of your work on Blasphemous
Thanks, Gravista! Btw, soon there will be new DLC release, and it's a good reason to try game)
All your blasphemous work is just blowing my mind. Never thought pixel art could be so unsettling. Haven't played it but the gameplay videos are genuinely creepy. Amazing detail and anims!
I'm not sure. After release i'm playing only switch version i didn't faced this issue in it. I either don't remember this bug in pre-release builds, hope it's fixed now in PC version
I look forward to playing it! I didn't try playing after the second patch yet. Did you correct that issue when enemies attack you while the game is still loading? (On Pc version)
Thanks, elend. This subtle stuff takes most time, but in game's style without it big characters would be too static or to breachy, so i'm happy that you think it was worth it)
Haven't commented on your art much, but here goes: I absolutely love the Blasphemous look. It is very unique and well done, imho. Gorgeous (aka drab) color palette and general sense of uneasyness. Very, very creepy art. What I also especially love is the sheer size of the enemies. Also really well done is the subtle animation, which - even though it is so subtle - features a ton of frames. Very smooth, very awesome.
Nothing unfair, just brutal. When you understand, how to fight against nuns, it's not a big deal to kill them. If you don't rush in room with seinging scythes, you can walk throught it without troubles. In update this room was changed and it become much more easier, which is sad for me.
Blasphemous, where the ultimate boss are pits and spikes.
Except a few pieces of lesser quality that clashed with the rest of the game, it was almost all eye candy for pixel artists.
I have PTSD about the windy snow mountains and that "shortcut" room with the spikes and the swinging scythes.
I enjoyed the game, but those two parts were unfairly brutal, as was that nun at the top of the windy mountains that takes away half of your life in one hit, just before the save point. It feels like a brutal slap in the face the first time you're playing.
This game's art is so inspiring... I bought it as soon as the game launched
I love design of this NPC
