I like it! Took me a moment to realize the flame at the end was a tail, but that's clever.
The flames aren't changing the lighting on the face or the delicious-looking "fiery meatballs," as my husband is calling them. Which is, of course, a perfectly valid choice when choosing how to prioritize your time, especially if you're making a lot of assets, but it does make the dragon feel a little bit less alive.
Thanks! While I was time constrained when I worked on it, I didn't even think of lighting the face or the "meatballs", thanks for pointing that out!
I still have a lot to learn, especially about lighting, but I think I was focusing mainly on the flames animation for that sprite.
