This is actually my first pixel art, after reading the tutorial from the forums. I still have many questions and I'd be very happy to get some feedback from you professional guys, so I can improve.

I used only Photoshop and originally went with a predefined 8 color palette. But I quickly noticed that I started to use way way more colors than I originally intended, mostly darker or brighter versions of the original palette. I ended up at around 64 colors. I will try to use lesser colors more consequently in future works.

I also created some brushes for dithering, but I couldn't really use them at this low resolution, so I did the dithering manually. The dark part of the planet was achieved by using a darker copy of the original color palette.

I plan to do more planets from our solar system, if not all.
