It's a self-portrait but without any non-mental reference. So I cannot garantee it looks like me. Worked on this the past single day now and then, felt like calling it finished. Good enough as an avatar. :)
According to the Gimp's colorcube analysis it's got 69 unique colours, including transparency... no it was not intended and please don't start on me with "You used too mutch colours!".

Hair looks quite like a 'Geek Pie'.  Overall, it looks quite good, the face shape seems fine. Nice work.

The haircut is very bold and original. You did a great job pixeling your face. Did you use a photo reference or did you look in the mirror?
