I really like the shading and palette style on this, it feels like it could've been on an official Super Famicom cart.
I freely admit I could go my entire life without seeing another teary-eyed Tsukino Usagi and I would be happy - but I sort of like this one the best of the (non-meme) ones I've seen. I think it comes down to two factors
1) I love how high the contrast on the eyes are, because it centralizes them, and the main reason for this meme AFAIK is to draw pretty anime eyes (which I understand, that's all I did when I was eight)
2) The texture and subtle color shifts on the floor are really, really pleasant
I'm less enthused with, e.g., the pillow shading on the hair, but I dig the piece as a whole
This is great! I'm loving this so much!
