Glad you like it @Argyle. I bet many people don't even catch the cape fx.
Yeah I should do some trees, grass tiles and blue skies for sidescrolling games. Something artistic challenging, I agree (/sarcasm) @Decroded
Thanks @SeDIceBisconte, cool that you catched up on the in-cape effect =)
Yeah Unexpectedly I had some time to get this done. At this point after churning out high resolution bg afte rhigh resolution bg for the last 5 year sor so, the workload feels not tha tintimidating anymore, but a fair amount of hours went into this one. I am glad that for once I could just make a painting for the pure joy of it.
Thanks @CountZero
I am glad to hear that you enjoy my art and that you like dthis piece.
Oh wow, nice to see you around @Mathias, has been a long while since I saw you last on Pixelation and I thought you completely vanished fromt he internets.
Glad you like it =)
Thanks @WOfGD, glad you enjoy it and spend soem time to look at it. I put a fair bit of nice small details in the background, of course most work went into the center. But also glad you think the creature is amazing :)

Wow this is sick! Almost doesn't even look like simple pixel art anymore! Well done, godlike work
pretty lazy work dude.
it would be nice to see you at least make an effort to make something interesting.
(jks )
What a remarkable piece. The cape with the reflected, burning cityscape in it is probably my favourite detail but I'm sure there are lots I haven't even noticed yet given how much is going on here. Really amazing!
excuse me while i pick up my jaw and try to put it back in place.
brilliant, as usual.
you truly are one of my favorite artist.
Absolutely amazing! I could spend hours looking at this image just finding all of the little details. I especially love the design of the creature in the center, it's very creative
@Eggy: While this is quite high resolution, it still follows all basics of pixelart. It's jsut that at this size the single pixels are not tha timportant anymore, although here, every bit got polished.
