The Real Ghostbusters was my favorite cartoon when I was growing up. And Slimer was my favorite character to draw. So it only makes sense for me to pixelize my childhood memories many years later. I think I drew this back in 2002... I'm 30 now, so my memory isn't what it use to be.

Um I dunno about that. The movies were great. The cartoon did have some very high quality episodes before it all went to the crapper. First ya noticed Peter, Janine and I think Winston talking with different voices, then too much cheesy 80's music scenes and then the episodes becoming too Slimer-oriented to the point where the last season was called Slimer and The Real Ghosbusters...and the Junior Ghostbusters...and ugh... way to ruin a good show. I have some DVDs of the earlier stuff which includes the classic episode 'Ragnarok 'N Roll'. Anyways about the piece. It's good but I'm curious as to what it might be like if ya did it today.
Now that I look back at this design, a little anti-aliasing would have helped with the "choppy" edges of the slime and character. And making a transparent version with a background is not a bad idea!
