oh this is beautiful! yeah, the shadows do a lot of work to bring life to this piece! I am a really big fan of the palette.
I'm glad to hear that! I put a lot of thought into the cast shadows and the reflected sunset sky and buildings out of shot.
It's definitely the centrepiece of this piece for me aswell.
This is lovely all around, but I think my favourite part is the cast shadows from the buildings across the square, good touch!
