Alright, I'm eager to receive those pictures, I really like this style and would definetly use that promo art to make my next piece.
And thank you so much for the compliments and criticism again. They are very encouraging. I just wish I had more time to make pixel art.
ah! you have done really well with that palette in the past too!
yep! I will PM you some pictures in the next day or so, I remembered I just read a great book about vintage disney promo art, I bet that I can find what I am looking for in there.
at the end of the day, you are the artist! I think the sailor gets the point across well. at the very least, sure give them some more practice! your landscape work is great!
Thank you so much, jph. Though I must give credit where it is due. The palette is Fantasy 24.
I have no idea what an old painting at Disney looks like, maybe you could give me an example so I could get flattered? haha.
Thank you for the criticism as well. I was worried about that sailor on the pier, but since he's so small, whenever I tweaked it, it just created noise. Maybe I should try to get better at human figures.
I am in love with your palette choices, this piece is no different. I really like the texture of the clouds and mountains, and the super rich blue brings the sky and sea to life. reminds me of old paintings I saw at Disney when I was a kid.
criticism! I think that the person on the dock could use a little bit more love. I just feel they might be a little flat.
great work! thanks for sharing and best wishes moving forward
Very pretty, the colors appeal to the eye.
