Ooooooh, spooky! Definitely getting big Gen 1 vibes from the decision to change up the designs by adding more heads (or eyes in this case). The variations in palette are super subtle too - very cool, all things considered.
thank you for the kind words. unfortunately I dont have much free time this weekend but i added a few details to help with the differentiation
This is a really good demonstration of how to properly use dithering and breaking outlines, well accomplished, congratulations! But I also agree with Pig_catapult, the differentiation between each stage is not enough. I would delete the middle stage, make the third the new middle one and make a new third stage, bigger and scarrier. If you want to give it a try there are still 2 days left for you to draw one more pokemon
These are great! Awesome use of dithering and breaking the outline. And we chose the same palette for our final evolutions!
Great concept and rendering, especially on the final one, but imo there's not enough differentiation between each stage for a fakemon. This looks like natural growth stages of a single monster, and I really like it as that, but most Pokemon have a more dramatic "jump" between evolutions. The difference between the first and third is closer to what I'd expect.
I'd suggest taking out the middle stage and making a new first or last one.
Thank you! It is definitely Gen 1 inspired lol
