This is not a Pixelween 2020 entry per se, but I wanted to do a piece that complemented my first proper entry. I've still put 'Pixelween' on the preview since I'm submitting this to the weekly and I consider it the first part of my imaginary film.
The overall concept I've come up with is partly inspired by the 2009 album Embryonic by The Flaming Lips. This specific piece draws inspiration from Andrei Tarkovsky films, although I've depicted the British countryside rather than Russia. I imagine the film starting out with soft, natural lighting before taking an expressionistic turn as things get scarier.
Slightly more twilighty colours here.
