Thanks!
I believe that having a screen tablet and several more years of experience with art in general might be part of the reason :) I've been doing digital art for quite a while (I have even been able to complete a few commissions) and I've recently warmed up my desire to pixel again as well. I found that it's actually not very different from when I paint with fancy brushes, besides working on a smaller scale and having to control all the pixels and colors that I'm using haha. In addition, with each thing I make, I find myself learning a little bit more and gaining that sweet sweet EXP.
Another thing is that this time around, particularly for the Pixelween event, I'm trying to push myself both to improve and to have a chance at winning something (if anything, I'd just like a Pro Motion NG key lol). A palette like the one for this week would've probably scared me off if I wasn't so determined (as a matter of fact, it almost did when I looked at it once the new theme was posted), but I've been able to work my way around these restrictive colors to create something I really like. Hopefully the next 2 themes will allow for my next idea to come to life as well :)
Nice continuation Eggy.
PS: What happened to you? How did you suddenly up your skills so much?
the tiger's face is sharp and the bush is smooth, creating a really cool effect with contrast. I love it
Well the total of these, it shows. Both the overall art and the little details.
