Weekly Challenge: Pixelween: The Plot
It was a neat idea to visualize the sound. Combined with the pose of the crow, it looks really dynamic. Good pose on the witch, too.
The wings and legs of the crow maybe blend in a bit with the background (thanks to all the colours with simillar values in the palette), but the red tree trunks and the sound coming from its beak definitely help. I don't have any actual trouble telling that it's there, especially after 2x zoom.
You've retained the aesthetic from the first piece really well too. I think a lot of us will be changing styles from tomorrow because my guess is we'll be down to eight colours...
Thanks so much for saying so, I added the visual sound just to help the crow stand out...
My hope was that the trees would help the scene feel more horizontal, too.

For some reason my instincts tell me the next palette will be 4 or less colors... I'm quite apprehensive to see what the next week's challenge will be.
