You've done a great job capturing the contours of the face, and where the light should be falling, but the dithering here is obscuring that a little. I've found that dithering is almost the wrong choice when shading skin because it adds a rough texture to what should be smooth. (Unless you're shading stubble or a buzz cut or something like that.)
