Oh no! Swimming into the lake was a terrible idea! You may have evaded the half-skeleton tiger, but the lake has its own danger: enter the Vodyanoy, the bane of all human beings!

All of a sudden, a Vodyanoy grabs your arm and you are pulled under the surface. You try to break free from his grasp, but it's no use. He is stronger than you, holding you firmly and not letting you go. Being dragged deeper and deeper into the lake, you have no choice but to accept your fate as water replaces the air in your lungs... In several minutes, you will inevitably die. 

But look on the bright side; at least this Vodyanoy is one of the juveniles. A fully grown Vodyanoy would probably have gobbled you up on the spot instead. But to be fair, drowning isn't really much better either... Oh well.

My final Pixelween entry. The prompt is (obviously) "Demise". I'm pretty sure this has some flaws that I could address (such as an attempt at perspective), but other than that I like how this came out. Making something for Pixelween has been pretty fun.
