This pixel is based on the Valentine Sâhib 1842 animation. This character was inspired by the british comic artist Jamie Hewlett (Tank girl, Gorillaz's characters, ...) in a picture called Death commitioned by Vertigo. See ref : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Hewlett

I redraw it using large shapes style and then dithering shades and light effects. It's done with a palette of 12 colors.

[08/11/2006] Following suggestions from jalonso and eghost, I added a stained glass in the background, some transversal lights coming from two sources and candle light effect on the back of her neck.
