I started a series of figurines based on Swedish Folklore several years ago. Going through my files now that I got new harddrives I realised I never showed them off anywhere, or put them in my gallery here.

This is näcken, a water spirit that lures people in to drown them. In the shape of a beautiful, melancholy, young man, he lures people down into the water while playing the violin. He can teach people to play the violin, but playing the songs näcken has taught you can lead to insanity.
