I started a series of figurines based on Swedish Folklore several years ago. Going through my files now that I got new harddrives I realised I never showed them off anywhere, or put them in my gallery here.

On the left is a tomte, a kind of house spirit. The tomte would help with the house and farm, but only if they thought the people deserved it. They have magical powers and able to talk to animals.
On the right is a vätte, a type of spirit that lives underground, often close to humans. It likes to dress in grey and is often pictured as malicious.
