This is a little thingy I did to incorporate in my mixed media work: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/37920443/ (sorry for the plug, but yeah, you'll have to take a look at it to get the idea :D)

The piece itself is stylized to look gaudy.. Like old NES games. This uses 25 colors of the standard Windows palette. I didn't find the NES palette, can anyone hook me up with that :D?

That's all I have to say, I haven't decided whether I like it myself. Hope it doesn't suck too much.

2jon - thanks for dat png! I was looking for an .aco swatch file, but this will do just the trick, I'll just use the colorpicker in Photoshop :) I love both Popeye and Felix, so those comparisons are flattering :D

Anyway I really like this piece (especially on the billboards, looks as though your looking through a window into someones kitchen). Could imagine it in the London Underground (you should do some street art with this). The character reminds me of Bluto (popeyes arch enemy)...It also has a felix the cat kinda feel to it to. Simple but nice (+fav for billboard piece)

Oh, it looks incredibly like an old game. I just love the simple style and bright colours. Great stuff.
