Haha yeeah, I wasn't entirely sure about them, in the end, since I was zoomed into the picture, I went with that looked more visible and didn't take the perspective into consideration as much as I should XD;

Very nice piece! Neat use of dithering. The ripples don't look perpendicular to the water surface however, they look slightly slanted towards the viewer.
