I've done a few more full figured bases and they seem to have been received really well. Since I've been working on different body types, I thought I'd try something really difficult and challenging.
My goal was to create a really large base that was also beautiful and elegant. I hope I've achieve that with this.

Beautiful. I was looking for some doll bases that portrayed something other than sticks as women (or very thin-waisted hourglasses) and I came across your site, and I was so pleased. Good job on the work!
She looks good! I really like how you've added folds/rolls/wrinkles in her body instead of making it completely smooth. Though I agree that the lineart looks a bit harsh in some spots, like her breasts and underarm.
I really think this would look better and much more realistic without the lineart. What I mean is, for example, on the breasts, there's quite conspicuous outlines on their contours, whereas I think it'd be better if their contours were portrayed with shading, like you've done with the folds of skin under the neck, side of the torso etc. Apart from that the only crit I have is the hands looks very floppy, apart from that, this is very good. @Afflict: I think that lighting on the left is light from another lightsource.
Its a really well done pic, I love the skin shades and the lighting, the hand loks a little strage to me also I dont understand the light streak on the left side of the stomach tunning down the leg?
the "back rolls" just may be the part I like about this image best, some parts seem abit odd [small feet, shoulder] but perhaps I just haven't been with enough large women to know :(
although this piece is a little disturbing, i cant stop but applaud your shading with the skin. great work man. nipples look real too, which is uncommon.
half: you should go to art school. ive seen enough large naked people that it no longer effects me in any way.
this looks really nice, i like how you added a real grace to the figure. palette and everything is simple, but then again it is a doll, so you cant really expect that type of thing to be tailored without knowing clothes setting etc
Great skin tones! And I really think the dithering is superb. The near cheek seems a bit flat, however, and I much prefer to not look at and study naked, three-hundred pound women.
