Inspired by a place in Japan: Shirakawa-go.
Such incredible atmosphere! I particularly like the use of purple in this–the way it makes the reflections look more watery, but also ties the image together with the use in the buildings and the shadows of the trees.
Love the clustery/circley style of the foliage here.
I left the mountains and trees rough because I want everyone focused to house and water
it's mirrored, then I removed some color and start shifting the pixels to right or left
Great! Just curious, is the reflection hand made or achieved by displacing a mirrored piece? I would guess it's the second, maybe a bit cleanup in addition.
Very pretty! Something about the colors makes me feel I'm there, it's hard to describe. I've actually been to Shirakawa-gō in the past.
Very nice mood.
I like this very much, especially the water surface and houses, but the mountains and trees are a little rough
Huh! Interesting style. I like it. Lovely colors too.
