This mockup is made as a gift for a friend, the person who supported me the most in continuing to pursue pixel art and not to giving up. I would of never made it this far without you.

Inspired by great Jalonso's mockups of master artists artworks, I decided to make a mockup of artworks from Lake's gallery being viewed in a playable world, with the main character being Lake (a Mei Misaki look-alike).

Menu screen is a joke, since Maple Story is one of Lake's favorite games and I thought it'd be funny to make a meme bloody mess "nexon" game menu screen.. The game idea is a meme despite the decent art.

First scene is based off of: Last Beating Hearts

A piece that means a lot to me since it's the one Lake worked on when we met.

Second scene is based off of: Fairy Flame

I struggled to pull off a cool shape for the lake and couldn't pixel as many trees, but I'm glad with how the shadows of the trees and reflected stars on the lake turned out.

Third scene is based off of: Torii To The Blue Light Shrine

This is probably my favorite of the mockup scenes, but what else to expect when referencing such an awesome piece to begin with.

Last one isn't based off of any of Lake's pieces entirely, but the Underlake is inspired by Shadowless Life, and there's some interesting people in the audience Lake likes.
