Oh, it's supposed to be a bed inside the window hole, I originally made a bit more of the interior show but scrapped it since I thought it wasn't necessary, here's a bit bigger image. I dunno if this helps the perspective haha. I like your idea too, looks fine with the more straight window edge line also, that would've made it easier for me. Thanks for taking the time to discuss and give feedback, I appreciate it. And thanks for the compliments.
No, I love the background, I'm just confused about the relationship of the foreground and the background. For example, you could do this and it would look ok to me. But in your piece, we're seeing the floor / window sill from above. If I try to imagine the rest of the room she's sitting in, I wonder if it's still consistent with the background. It's like we're looking down at her, but up at the sky. I don't know. I'm not good with perspective. Maybe both are valid.
Whatever the case may be, it's a very cool piece with a great atmosphere.
Thanks. Think it's the building at the very front? Since it's the only one facing the window directly, while the others are diagonal. I didn't care much, just had fun with the bg.
Great job, love the colors. Not entirely sure about the perspective though. Maybe I'm confused.
