Thank you, Hapiel! When I first started doing pixel art a few years ago, I used a lot of dithering. I really held myself back on it this time. One of the big things I've learned from dithering is that it should be used for slight ramps and rounding edges off - if that makes sense? In this particular piece - the statue's arm and face... I think that helped a lot.
