Ok I'm going to do another thought dump, I enjoyed revisiting this but I feel like I didn't put enough originality into it so it really only works for this challange. I think I did well enough but advice is always welcome. Also I was going to change the face but I thought it was funny so I kept it.
Cool! Some nice clusters and good readability! Unfortunately, the helix / snake in his lap is too complex to render at this scale, so it just looks like a checker pattern blob.
