Oh wow, didn't notice all the robots and missiles comming at them until I read the description! Lovley work!
This is very nice. You've captured a unique mood with the apparent calm before the giant deathbot storm. The birds fleeing the oncoming destruction are a really cool touch.
adding to what has been said, beautiful palette, that muted peach in the sky supports everything else so well
@Cyangmou Thanks! I'm not always great at composition and storytelling but this one worked out in the end.
Lovely perspective and storytelling.
Really like how the lines pull you looking up and how everything feels in the moment.
@Taks Thanks. Yes, nobody ever sees the death robots until its far far too late.
Amazing work! The armada made it so much more dramatic
Edit: Oh wow, didn't see the robots marching from behind. extra nice.
@Kurz Thanks. I was definitely trying to convey story. Glad it works for you!
@CELS Thanks for the help on composition. I really liked the little duck but the right hand side was really busy and this makes it read so much better.
@Sarahboev Thanks, I'm really happy how it turned out eventually.
Great scene, I love it. And while it's maybe not the most important detail, I love how you pixelled the head of the lady on the mech. Also, good call to remove the bird on the right side.
Thanks, I had to restrain myself a bit. I had extra ducks and things, and a fallen robot claw, but they made it too busy and I ended up editing them out.
Very subtle background detail, surprised me
