I love the big blocks of colour in this. I don't have much original to say on top of everyone else's comments, but I basically second all of them. The work you put into this really shows.

I just picked the colors based on the values. I did make a few designs for the bacground, but I found them too noisy so I just stuck with a flat color. Thanks that you found it interesting! 

I cant really take credit on the cartoon portrait. It was more recreating another artist's technique. But it did help me become confident with making portraits.
