This has a kind of retro or old comicbook style, very clean and impressive work with the colors!

I love how you've managed to simply the hair down to just the perfect few curved lines interrupting the big shape. Always beautiful portraits.

The colour use choices are superb! Loving the vibes the background gives. 

I was also hoping you'd enter. This is wonderful. I have no idea how you made this palette look so good (I cheaped out and went monochrome), but I'm always impressed by the way you force unusual palettes to do your bidding. Really inspirational work!

I really like what you did with the background - definitely helos with making the face stand out. The way you did the stubble and the hair is simple yet effective, and the yellow/blue combo on the shirt works a treat!
