Made for someone on another site who requested that I draw their character Haex. Since character art isn't really my strong point, I decided to draw a scene around the character while still having the character be one of the main focuses of the image, although I do think that the character itself turned out quite well.

I struggled quite a bit with making the trees in this image; I tried a different style of shading from what I usually use for this type of tree and I'd never tried this particular style of shading on a tree as close-up as the tree on the left, but I don't think it turned out too bad.
