Looks very good, I must say. The dynamic lighting is as good as you always do and the dithering on the lava give it quite a nice texture.

Oh; I always though colour-screwage was an intrinsic aspect of all PNGs, regardless of the program/browser used to view them.

I would say that depends on your browser, faktablad, most good [keyword good] display PNGs fine. it could just be the c64 pallete that I chose, which I believe is the one the emulator VICE uses [I stole it from some c64 sprite editor]

I agree with InvaderLupus, but I think it's because you made it look stretched even when it probably shouldn't.  Regardless of the widepixels, it should probably look just as normal.

Your use of the palette is interesting.  I think saving it as a PNG corrupted the colors a bit though.

this probably defeats the purpose of c64, but I think it would look so much better if it wasn't in wide pixels.
