Hello.
This is my first attempt at pixel art. I read/viewed a lot of tutorials online. The best suggestion I took was to start small to learn to put as much information into one pixel as possible. I'm not very good at art, I can't even draw a simple picture. I hope pixel art can teach me a few things here and there so I can improve to visualize and place things on a canvas and make it a picture I'm not dissapointed of.
So here is a floppy. It took me about 2 hours to make it look like that. I used Asprite with the nyx8 palette.
Drawing pixels does relax me. So whenever I'm in the mood I'll look forward to the next litte project.
Thanks for reading.
Greetings go out to Dawnbringer. I love your art and games. Still playing the fantastic Dawn Video Poker - love it.

Welcome to pixel art! Solid piece for a first piece! doing little projects is a good idea and will probably teach you a lot about pixel art and art in general. And don't be afraid to look at tutorials that are not only about pixel art, as alot of great stuff about digital/traditional art applies to this medium too.
Hope you'll enjoy your pixel journey :)
