Done for Blue's palette contest: http://www.eclectic-blue.com/blueribbon/viewtopic.php?t=108
The palette in the image is the one we were required to use, and the levels of contrast are pretty dramatically different than I would use if I was selectingmy own palette. I figured I might as well go all out and experiment with it.
I'm rather happy with this piece. 19 colours used, 26 in the palette.

The characters pose and the colours are really good. The lighting is especially cool. I do wish that the pallete wasn't in the picture, but I do understand that you wanted to show the colour usage.
Interesting usage of the palette for the skin tones, they pop out and work quite well. The secondary light source adds so much to it. Nice work. Great anatomy to look at ;) Would be interesting to see the bikini straps anti-aliased into the skin, maybe using a skin tone.
I would improve the AA a bit: for example on his right upper leg the highlight is a bit pixely. And another level of shades might be a good idea for the skin, it seems a bit flat now. The anatony is very good, and actually in overall it's a very nice piece :-)
Maybe add some white/near white highlights on her skin coming from the primary light source? I dunno, looks good though. Really stands out amongst all those super dollish ones at that site.
