This is one of my favourite kinds of pixel art! Will definitely be using it as a reference. Nicely pixelled! 
The dark pink doesn't quite work in the nose and left cheek, but great nonetheless!
The brushstroke effect on this is as striking as the wonderful palette. Really excellent work.
