Recently witnessed a mass migration of California Tortoiseshell butterflies on Mt Adams. I say "migration", but really they were in a lull, estivating (or "chilling out") on the mountain slopes, in the millions. Reference image - https://imgur.com/a/98d7iKc (myself blocked out).
