i completely agree. i see shades patterns in there typical of jpeg compression methods. so either you are a master at pixeling jpeg compression methods, or you just coloreduxt an image.

this is not pixelart, it's a coloureduced jpg, same kind of tile compression.

If this was infact done by hand I have to question the placements of some of your pixels; particularly his left eyebrow, the "tiling" palletes (not something worth doing in MSPaint) the serious lack of AA some parts have (while others overdone) and I must ask for the reference. (I was actually planning on trying a portrait of davy jones myself someday :D)

... crikey. How long did this take you? This looks excellent. If it weren't here, I wouldn't suspect that this was made in MSPaint at all.
