Here's a pixelart from 2017 (or 2016) demo on C64 by Shape. Demo name is Shores of Reflection. and this image was used as a part of animation where ... ah go and find it on YT ;)

 

The image is 160 x 130 - fat pixels and 16 colors used.

 

Please be aware that I use a lot of dithering as all my pictures are meant to be displayed on a real hardware and PAL TV sets (oldschool!). Sometimes the dithering plays the purpose of a texture and sometimes it's used to mimic the new colors by exploiting the PAL color blending "feature".
