Phew, done. As usual most of the time went into staring at the screen drooling on my tablet.

Almost forgot, i want to thank ptoing for his suggestions on the final touch ups

edit: Ok, tried to fix most of what has been mentioned by several people in several places :)

I always come back to this pic once in awhile. Love it :)

iLKke (Level 7 Mass Murderer) at 3/8/2007 7:45:48 AM
Great work. Love how it's all a bit shabby. Also love the deranged look in their eyes! 5/5

AwesomePossum (Level 1 Thug) at 3/4/2007 3:33:43 PM
I would say this one my most favourit pieces pf pixel art of all time! I really like how you handled the crease in the upper right hand corner! Bravo!

tomic (Level 10 Lieutenant General) at 9/17/2006 4:12:43 AM
wie geil!
this is what pixelart is all about - little details like the bad spots on the wall, the folds of the guys' clothes and that often mentioned stamp-corner.. just love this piece for that and of course your sense of where to use dithering and where not

6/6 and faved (of course)

jalonso (Level 11 Godfather) at 9/6/2006 10:15:16 AM
ART!!!

TheChaindog (Level 4 Murderer) at 9/5/2006 7:52:08 AM

This is pretty amazing. Especially the tiny little touches, as the fold at the top right corner, make is really stand out.

big brother (Level 8 Rear Admiral) at 9/4/2006 3:14:32 PM
So this is what Stewie Griffin looks like when he grows up...

KraZ (Level 1 Rookie) at 9/4/2006 11:39:22 AM
holy... It has a creepy look but AWEsome look to. Kinda some how gives me a thought of Tim Burton.

Ensellitis (Level 11 Special Agent) at 9/4/2006 1:35:22 AM
THAT is how dithering should be used.  that fold as everyone has said is stunningly realistic.  and the content is just plain creepy.  a definate 9/9 dots and a fave

Larwick (Level 8 Shodan) at 9/3/2006 4:54:51 PM
Absolutely superb. A real smackintheface to those who are in denail about pixelart being a real art form. Although as alot have said, i think i'm going to have bad dreams now.. :]

Tremulant (Level 6 Hitman) at 9/2/2006 9:27:39 AM

Not only do I love it, I think I'm in love with it. The image itself it beautiful, and despite being essentially black and white, the palette's really appealing to me (seems very soft, warm). What really gets me, though, is the crease in the corner, which looks (to my untrained eye) mind bogglingly realistic... and I juts noticed as I was typing this that quite a few people have alredy mentioned that very thing. Hooray for redundancy!

Seriosuly, though, this is quite spectacular. Full score and and instant fave.

Gas 13 (Level 9 Federal Agent) at 9/1/2006 2:26:12 PM
I wish you join pixelstamps project ;)

space2 (Level 2 Flatfoot) at 9/1/2006 12:01:28 PM
Very realistic in a very weird way :-) I like it!

Anlina S. (Level 6 Manager) at 9/1/2006 10:43:13 AM
I think my favourite part of this whole piece is the fold in the corner. The whole thing is spectacular, but that fold just adds a dimension to your piece that you so rarely see - it's not  pixel art picture in a photoesque frame, it's a pixel art of a printed photo with the flaws that you see in prints that have been sitting around for years. That kins of subtle distinction make me appreciate this piece so much.

Scruffs (Level 6 Made) at 8/31/2006 7:39:08 PM
god its amazing, so smooth.

buloght (Level 6 SWAT) at 8/31/2006 4:00:49 PM
Very artistic, love it.

Faktablad (Level 6 SWAT) at 8/31/2006 2:23:43 PM
I gotta stop adding mia's work to my favorites...

I've always admired the way you use dithering, it's very intelligent and subtle.  The pants look unfinished, however, but I suppose it's ok since that's not where the attention is directed anyway.

Alex (Level 1 Thug) at 8/31/2006 11:42:44 AM
jesus mia, i fucking love you.

Craddik (Level 3 Sergeant) at 8/31/2006 10:18:08 AM

ThereIsNoCure (Level 11 Godfather) at 8/31/2006 8:11:50 AM
One of the best achromatic pieces of pixelart I've seen, wonderfully done and extremely creepy.

miascugh (Level 4 Team Leader) at 8/31/2006 7:38:01 AM
It's more about the absurdity of the whole situation. But i suppose my disdain for ingenuinity when it comes to societal obligations crept in there too somehow :P. It's another tractor image.

Thanks !

Lawrence (Level 10 Operative) at 8/31/2006 7:26:42 AM
The frame is great, especially the little crease in the top right corner, it looks so real! Quite an intriguing piece, is it based on anything? It seems quite deep.
