Be kind...this is my very first attempt at creating a pixel sprite (and maybe the third piece of pixelart I've done in my life). Obviously I have got a LOT to learn. Somehow everything I ever learned about lighting in art school left my brain as soon as I reached pixel level. Looking back I realize I really didn't think out the palette very well beforehand.

I like the exaggerrated anatomy with the super-long legs and the hips out front like that; it's a nice expressive pose. The arms and face could benefit from a little bit higher contrast. You could also probably cut the palette in half and still get the same overall look. But this is a great third attempt.
