I WAS going to add some purity scrolls, but forgot. I may add them later though.
Head was kinda lazily done, so was the right *his left* boot.
Absolutely NO dithering used.
Took a few hours, on and off. I may do a squad behind him sometime in the future and make a battlefield. HAH! Yeah right, like I got the time for that since school started ... But you may see a squad of 5 men at least. Maybe.
EDIT: As stated in my latest post, I made an animated .gif! Enjoy the process.
Beautiful shading and colouring, but the face really lets down the overall feel, and the left leg looks disproportionately long, and uncomfortably twisted.
I really like it; never seen a Space Marine in a style like this before. My complaint is you may have overdone the lines/scars(?) on his face a bit. Also his chainsword is a little puny; won't be killng many Orks with that.
wow this is amazing
just one thing i clicked to look at this on accident and i suggest if you want people too see it change the preview to more of a body shot the just a hand
Great palette, great contrast and highlights. I love the face, and the weapons are really well-done, particularly that sword thing. His left knee looks like it's positioned just a little too far toward the inside the leg, and the left foot doesn't look like it's solidly planted on the ground; it might need a slightly flatter outline on the bottom, although you did the right thing by making it a little more rounded than the other foot. Great work overall.
Thanks guys, and I never said I didn't like dithering, I was just stating that none of it was used in this peice. I was trying to see what I could do without it *and considering I've NEVER used it before >p<* with oh so many shades.
In the meantime of the few hours it's been on here, I made an animated .gif of it's process!

pretty awesome, just the chainsword is kinda hurting.
