This art is really good, but considering it is your first, it is amazing. I don't see any "mistakes". Yeah, when you level up you see all the mistakes you made in arts done in the past, and I assure you, than when time passes and you will return to this art, you won't find any actual mistakes, maybe only things that could be done better or different, but you will get there. Definately. Welcome to the PJ!
As feedback I can find only this:
1) When you add an additional colour, only slightly different (the dark gray you used only in the top of the eyes), make it worth it. Utilize it elswere like on the neck - so it won't be the same as the background, which suggest transparency, or like the tops of the black shoulder bars - to show light, or somewhere on that black bar on the forehead - to indicate roundness. Otherwise don't add the colour.
2) Check your art after you are done for any pixel accidents. You have a separate colour #2e2e2e used for only one pixel. Find it and blast it :)
