This is an older piece I'm uploading by request. It started out as a redesign on the first piece of pixel art I ever made, first with just the guy on the left, and then I decided to animate him, and then I decided to alter the palette and try an undead version. They're not really meant to face off against each other like this; they were designed to appear individually in a platform game (in my head), with the normal pirate appearing as an earlier enemy in the game and the undead version as a more powerful enemy later on. They're each 8 colors, 32x32 when standing still, expanding to about 80x45 when attacking. Looking back at this, I realize the animation could use a couple more frames...

dude the living guy hve no chance skeletons have no undead weakness and if they at least have an arm they can put themselves back together so the living has no hope >:-)
Hey, I really like this! There's so much character to those teeny little sprites. Great animation too! I really like the skeleton one, especially how the mouth moves for some reason. And the red one sort of looks like Captain Haddock from Tintin, haha.
