This pixel art was done for the limited palette collab , with palette #3. :B If you can't tell, it's raining. |D The limited palette really made it hard, and the rain in the background is just too stark in my opinion, but there really wasn't anything I could do, unless I try to dither it... /ponders. 7 colors, and maybe a couple hours. /shrug.

It's always raining where Tride comes from, and it's always raining in his heart. /OMG EMO D:`

Yes, Nocturne's strange partner, who doesn't really know what he himself is... he's human in ways, and others... well, he's complicated and probably more frightening than his daughter, Lunette, who is the protagonist of another story of mine. He has bad knees because his uncle beat him with his cane, and made Tride kneel in doorways as punishment. Okay, enough of the angst. Something cool about him is that he can use a sword, scythe or a pole as weapons without any problems. And he's got a big house and a giant "cat" (which is actually the physical manifestation of a curse, but uh, Tride himself isn't cursed

You did this better with 7 colors than most anyone could do with an unlimited amount. This is great, good job!

Thats not just pixel skills, but also drama skills. I think the colors and the face expression fits very well to etch other. Good Job.

It's incredible. Great work with such a small pallete.

I <3 pretty much all your work, and this rocks.  i particularly like that it is a departure from your typical colors, but still rocks just as hard

Excellent work, I like the wet reflections on the hair. Perhaps you could animate this in a similar way to Helm's avatar?

Filax_666 (Level 6 Hitman) at 9/6/2006 12:50:58 AM
Outstanding, I say. Outstanding. I can probably do nothing acceptable with this pallete, gotta check that thread later. Anyway, it's beautiful. The neck looks a bit awkward though...

Mirre (Level 6 Serial Killer) at 9/5/2006 11:59:40 PM
Wow, that is so beautiful.. You did an awesome job with this palette. Especially the shading on the face looks wonderful.
