I've been tying for ages to create a walking skeleton sprite at just 24 pixels tall, and it's been surprisingly difficult! This is my third or fourth attempt, and the first one worth showing to people. 30x24 pixels, 6 colors. He's meant to be compatible with my recent walking warrior animation guy. I find skeletons to be the most difficult monster to pixel, because they're so detailed and busy, with all those bones and ribs and stuff.

And... five days later, I am now working on a horror platform game with a friend of mine, using some of my already-made monsters. It's going surprisingly fast! Hope to have a demo up soon.

Ha, no, I've never worked on games, either professionally or for fun. I really want to though, and that's part of why I'm trying to improve my skills.

I also see the point of having those floppy feet ... I should have noticed the cartoonish side of your animation. May I ask you if you have ever made games (pro or not) ? Cause it's not apparent in your résumé ... and if not it's a real big loss for game industry !

Thanks! I like the floppy feet; I think it makes it look a little more cartoonish. But I see your point.

I find it very well done, especially considering the restrictions. I find it very smooth and neat. There is only one little detail that bothers me ... His right foot seems a little curved like if he was wearing slippers.
