I saw the Candy Cane challenge on Pixilart and decided to try it out. Initially, I wanted to make this a candy cane snake hanging on a candy cane tree branch. But then I realised I wanted to.keep the candy cane look of the creature. So I decided to make it a candy cane monster snake with candy cane fangs. I think the fangs are my favourite part of the piece. One challenge for me though, was designing the gingerbread mage. I wanted to add in a bunch more characters, like a robot with a candy cane turret. But I ended up settling with this.
