The stories of the past told us of mysteries never seen before in our times. Tales of dragons & giants roaming the land. Battles fought over magical items of great power. Heroes & villains became legends, far more powerful than those alive in my time. Although the Elders will say these are the best of times, I feel they are hiding the truth; the truth that the powers of ancient times are still in reach.

I've always been entranced by these stories of the past. To seek answers to these questions is as human as it gets. But why the lies? Why the secrets? All the questions I've asked, I've been labeled a menace! Someone society cannot care for. Yet that doesn't deter me, it only ignites my passions even more, and it has paid off!

The legends all told use since our childhood speak of these mysteries as just that: stories. Buts of tales embellished for dramatic effect. Giants, lessons to not roam the woods; dragons, to ravage families who don't pay penitence to the Gods. All are false! I now see, without a doubt, the realities of the past; of Giant beings locked in battles of unknowing motive. O' how much more I will discover if I pry some more... I will explore, and in doing so, I will appease my soul.

I've never really done anything with a proper background so when "no transparency" was one of your requests I was in for a challenge haha. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. I intended to do much more actually but there's a lot going on this time of year so I had to scale it back. Wasn't sure exactly what to do, but "something with a background, that looks like it has a story, atmosphere, and some characters" was where I landed. And from there it was pretty much just let my brush do the work. I like where it ended up.
