My favorite book is Hogfather by Terry Pratchett. It was my first Book about the discworld and since then I am hooked.

Basically, the Hogfather (aka santa Claus) went missing on Hogfathers day (aka christmas eve). Death and his manservant try to save it and went on a mission to replace him while Deaths granddaugter try to find and save the Hogfather. Otherwise the sun will not rise. There are even more strange characters, but to many to fit in this cover, so I chose my favorites
